VSG100H Product overview
When the asynchronous motor is started directly, it will produce a large starting current, which can usually reach 5 ~ 9 times the rated operating current. Such a large starting current will have a great impact on the power grid and affect the service life of the equipment. At the same time, the increase of the peak value of power supply will lead to additional investment in transmission and distribution. Using a soft starter to start the motor can control and reduce the starting current and avoid the above adverse effects.
VSG100H Series electronic soft starter is an all-digital intelligent starting equipment specially designed for the three-phase asynchronous motor. It comprehensively applies microcomputer control technology, digital signal processing technology, thyristor control technology, and digital communication technology to the control of motor start and stops. It adopts the working principle of current limiting or voltage slope rise to control the voltage output to the motor, to limit and reduce the starting current, which can not only ensure the safe and reliable operation of the motor, it can also realize remote monitoring and operation.
VSG100H Series electronic soft starter can be suitable for a variety of motor applications, such as soft start and soft stop of fans, pumps, and compressors driven by three-phase asynchronous motors. It can also be used to control equipment with variable speed mechanism, belt or chain belt transmission device, such as ball mill, crushing machine, centrifugal machine, mixer, conveyor belt grinder, planer, sewing machine, packaging machine, and stamping equipment.
VSG100H Series electronic soft starters have the following advantages when applied to the transmission system

VSG100H Working principle
The series soft starter consists of three parts: power module, control module, and control panel. See the working principal diagram
1. The power module consists of three groups of thyristor modules, and each group of thyristor modules consists of two anti-
parallel thyristors. The incoming line of the power grid is respectively connected to the lll3 of the three groups of thyristor
modules, and the motor is connected to the output terminals T1, T2, and T3 of the three groups of thyristor modules
2.The control module collects the power supply signals of the power grid and the motor and sends the signals to the
microcomputer processor. After calculation and judgment, the processor sends the instructions to the power component to
control the conduction and shutdown of the thyristor, to control the motor voltage, and realize the functions of soft start and
soft stop.
3.The control panel adopts an interactive digital design, which is composed of 4 status indicators, 4 eight segment Nixie tubes,
and 4 operation keys. All parameter settings, modifications, and displays are completed on the control panel.

Drawer type soft starter
Drawer type soft starter is a new type of soft starter. Including circuit breaker, contactor, integrated protector, current transformer, thyristor module, main control circuit board, and electrical connection of each control element. The utility model is characterized in that a partition is arranged in a box, and the elements are separately installed on the partition. The cabinet adopts the drawer body of the low-voltage drawer type distribution cabinet, such as the conventional GCK, GCS, and MNS low-voltage drawer type low-voltage distribution cabinet drawers. The electronic components constituting the soft starter are installed in the drawer of the drawer cabinet with a separate structure, circuit breaker, contactor, and other components. The drawer body can be pulled out and pushed as a whole, and the soft starter can be connected with a three-phase power supply and motor cable through connectors, making the whole control circuit structure more compact and concise, occupying less space, and more convenient and fast installation, maintenance and replacement of parts.
