3M 94 Tape Primer is a type of adhesion promoter to increase the adhesion for the adhesive tape while attaching. It can improve the adhesion to various materials like polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT and other difficult substrates like concrete, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces etc. It can also use to increase the adhesion of film and vinyl graphics in automotive detailing.
3M 94 Tape primer is usually applied before attach the adhesive tape, as it can improve the tape adhesion to make sure the tape bond firmly and permanently to the substrates.
It's very easy to use, first, clean by isopropyl alcohol, to make sure the surface is free from contaminants prior to applying the tape, then use brush or swab for small areas, or you can also use pressurized flow gun for those larger areas, then, allow the primer to dry completely, which is usually accomplished in 5 minutes at room temperature, before applying tape. For those porous surfaces, It may require 2 applications for uniform coverage in order to realize the good adhesion. Please note that before applying a second coat,you need to allow your first application of primer to dry completely.

3M™ Tape Primer 94 may be applied with a brush, swab, pressurized flow gun, knurled roller or similar type of equipment and can be removed with isopropyl alcohol. Vigorous scrubbing may be required.
