Magnesium Sulphate  Heptahydrate is colorless prismatic or needle-shaped crystal. Anhydrous is white crystalline powder or powder. It's odorless, tastes bitter and salty. It is freely soluble in water (119.8%, 20ºC) and glycerin,slightly soluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution is neutral.

Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, also known as bitter sulfur, bitter salt, cathartic salt, Epsom salt, chemical formula for MgSO4·7H2O), for white or colorless needle-like or oblique columnar crystals, odorless, cool and slightly bitter. Heat decomposition, gradually removed crystal water into anhydrous magnesium sulfate.

 

It is mainly used in the manufacture of fertilizer, leather making, printing and dyeing, catalyst, paper making, plastic, porcelain, pigment, match, explosive and fireproof materials.
