Descripción del producto
Un cojinete de rodillos de agujas es un tipo especial de cojinete de rodillos que utiliza rodillos cilíndricos largos y delgados que se asemejan a agujas. Los rodillos de los rodamientos de rodillos ordinarios son sólo ligeramente más largos que su diámetro, pero los rodamientos de agujas suelen tener rodillos que son al menos cuatro veces más largos que su diámetro. Como todos los rodamientos, se utilizan para reducir la fricción de una superficie giratoria.
En comparación con los rodamientos de bolas y los rodamientos de rodillos normales, los rodamientos de agujas tienen una mayor superficie en contacto con las pistas, por lo que pueden soportar una mayor carga. También son más delgadas, por lo que requieren menos espacio libre entre el eje y la estructura circundante.
Los cojinetes de agujas se utilizan en gran medida en componentes de automóviles como pivotes de balancines, bombas, compresores y transmisiones. El eje de transmisión de un vehículo de tracción trasera suele tener al menos ocho cojinetes de agujas (cuatro en cada junta universal) y, a menudo, más si es particularmente largo, o funciona en pendientes pronunciadas.
