Model EDC-3A Marsahll compactor is used to make asphalt mixtures specimens by standard compaction method for testing the physical and mechanical properties of asphalt mixture in the laboratory. It is suitable for the forming of dia.152.4mm(±0.2mm)×115mm/ dia.101.6mm(±0.2mm)×63.5mm cylindrical specimen used in Marshall test and indirect tensile test.
This compactor have A/B/C 3 independent models to choose. Type A only support forming 101.6mm specimens. Type B only support 152.4mm specimens, and Type supports both 101.6mm and 152.4mm specimens.
